# The Biggest AI Mistake Smart People Make

What is the biggest mistake smart people make when using AI? AI can make us dramatically faster, but faster thinking is not necessarily better thinking. In this video, I discuss three ideas: • AI is an amplifier, not a substitute for thinking. • As answers become easier to obtain, human judgment becomes more valuable. • AI works best as a thinking partner, not a replacement for our own thinking. The important question is not simply whether AI can give us an answer. It is whether we are asking the right question, whether the answer makes sense, and whether we should act on it.
